I started working with Chef Gerrie Bielefeld in the summer of 2017 to help her launch ChefGerrie.com. Among the many hats I wore as part of our relationship, contributing to her blog as a ghostwriter, editor, and guest author are some of my favorite.
While Chef Gerrie’s recipes are all her, based on years of experience as an Executive Chef and Culinary Instructor, I helped her go from the kitchen to the website by editing her recipes, ghostwriting in her style and tone, and adding my own perspective as a helpful and well-researched guest author.
The purpose of Chef Gerrie’s website, ChefGerrie.com, was to help people become confident in the kitchen. Whether that means following a recipe with ease, creating your own meals on the fly, or feeling courageous enough to take on a dinner party, holiday buffet, or six-course tasting menu. Stick with Chef Gerrie and you’ll get expert knowledge coupled with approachability and hilarious one-liners designed to make the kitchen FUN.
Our content goals were to position Chef Gerrie as a trusted authority in the kitchen. The pieces of content we created continue to be used to drive traffic to the site and build a presence on social media.
Additionally, I provided the following services for Chef Gerrie:
- SEO optimization
